PEMBROKE – Primary Health Choice’s own, The Walking Legends, competed in the Special Olympics Spring Games held by the Robeson County Special Olympics, and the Parks and Recreation for Robeson County. The Special Olympics games were held inside the Grace P. Johnson Stadium apart of the UNC Pembroke campus, which featured numerous schools and organizations. Before the start of the games, athletes were announced in the parade, and were given time to warm up and prepare. The Walking Legends made their presence felt in many of the games, which included the 50 meter run, 50 meter walk, & ball toss.
