Each year, National CNA Week provides an opportunity to recognize the dedication, compassion, and invaluable contributions of Certified Nursing Assistants across the country. In 2026, CNA Week is celebrated from June 11–17, with the National Association of Health Care Assistants’ theme, “We’re Unbelievable!”—a fitting tribute to the extraordinary work CNAs perform every day in caring for elders, individuals with disabilities, and those who depend on compassionate support services.

Certified Nursing Assistants (CNAs) are often the first smile a client sees in the morning and the last reassuring presence before the day ends. They provide assistance with daily living activities, offer companionship, encourage independence, and help ensure that individuals can remain safely and comfortably in their own homes. Their work goes far beyond a job description; it is a calling rooted in service, compassion, and genuine care for others.
Every day, APC CNAs travel across North Carolina to support children, adults, seniors, veterans, and individuals with disabilities. Whether assisting with personal care, helping a client maintain their independence, providing encouragement during difficult times, or simply being there to listen, CNAs create meaningful connections that improve quality of life.
Home care is built on trust, and our CNAs earn that trust through their dedication and commitment. They often become extended family members to the individuals they serve, providing comfort and stability during life’s most challenging moments. Their kindness, patience, and professionalism allow clients to remain where they feel most comfortable—at home.
